Dr. Celeste Ashe Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Elizabeth City State University and a Master of Science in Education, Supervision, and Administration from the City College of the City University of New York. She earned a Doctor of Religious Education from Christ Theological Seminary and received a Doctor of Sacred Literature, honoris causa, from The Commonwealth University. Dr. Johnson's career includes roles such as Former Academic Administrator at the College of New Rochelle School of New Resources, Former Director of Education Programs at the Westchester County Department of Corrections, and Sixth President/CEO of the International Association of Ministers Wives’ Widows’, Incorporated. She is also a published author and recipient of the Black Revolutionary War Foundation Award.
Lady Melinda Johnson is the First Lady of Urban Hope Refuge Church in Hartford, CT, a vibrant community where passionate worship and community activism intersect.
