Bishop M. Ruel McCoy, Sr. is a dynamic preacher, anointed teacher, spirited evangelist, passionate historian, proven pastor and Prophet. A third-generation apostolic product of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, he has been involved in public ministry all his life. Presently, he serves as Vice Chairman of the International Board of Bishops (IBOP). Bishop McCoy and his wife, Lady Benona B. McCoy, are the proud parents of three blessed children: Marcus, Jr., Michael (Christine) and Markeya. Affectionately known as “Loli and Pop”, they are the grateful and joyful grandparents of Michael, Jr.

Dr. Dorcas E. McCoy is a passionate and proven proponent of excellence in education. For two decades, she has worked in various capacities of teaching and administration in both private and public settings. Examples of her leadership services leading to a holistic administrative perspective include: Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs; Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Director of Model UN, and President of the Faculty Association. She is a Holy-Ghost filled Senior Missionary. Dr. McCoy serves as President of the Women’s Council for the Florida Ecclesiastical Diocese, Dean of the International Missionary Department Institute, Vice President of Education for the International Women’s Council and Director of Education for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. She is a member of Greater Refuge Memorial Church and the Florida Ecclesiastical Diocese under the leadership of Pastor Marcus R. McCoy, Jr., and Bishop M. Ruel McCoy, Sr., respectively.

This workshop track is designed to assist delegates with discipleship. The objective of this “WAKE UP” instructional engagement is to equip believers to become true disciples of Christ through a deeper understanding of the times and corresponding call to shine as Beacons of Light.
