Join Apostle Dr. Matthew Norwood and Mother Frances Darby for our midday workshop on Making Disciples of All Nations.
Apostle Dr. Matthew Norwood served as Pastor of Bible Way Ministries International in Atlanta, Georgia for forty-four years. A two-time Presiding Apostle of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, he currently leads Global Missions with the goal of fulfilling the Great Commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Married to the deceased Lady Miriam Norwood (Spelman class of ’58), for 57 years, they are the parents of five children who are active in ministry, and ten grandchildren being reared in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. He is the author of The Call of God to the Christian Ministry, a book of practical principles for Christian workers.
Mother Darby is the wife of Bishop James B. Darby, the mother of six, four sons and two daughters, the grandmother of nineteen and the great grandmother of six. Mother Darby serves faithfully in her local church Greater Refuge in Deland, Florida, under the leadership of her husband Bishop Darby, and has held many positions from the local to the international level within the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Presently, she serves as International Director of Global Missions under the leadership of Apostle Matthew Norwood.
This workshop track will discuss how Christ designed discipleship to be a global movement. The objective of this multicultural session is to empower delegates with strategies for becoming all things to all people to evangelize the world for Jesus Christ.
